What is the Shim Sham?

Answer

The shim sham is a line dance beloved by swing dancers across the country! Participation is totally optional, but if you'd like to learn the dance and join in, I recommend this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO3oGgZEZ5g&t=149s.

What should I wear?

Answer

For the welcome drinks, ceremony and reception, please wear cocktail attire. The outdoor location is on grass, so you may want to reconsider stilettos!

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, yes! There is an indoor location in the event of rain.

Will there be transportation between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttles between the hotel and the Stone Barn.

We'll be providing lots of board games for folks to play during the reception. Feel free to bring your own, too!

Are the locations accessible?

Answer

Yes! All of our events are wheel-chair accessible. For brunch, there is not a wheel-chair accessible bathroom on the same floor; however, there is one on the floor below.
