Jordan grew up in Oviedo, Florida, and made his way to Atlanta to earn his business degree from Emory University. He now works as a senior financial analyst — and yes, he really is the kind of person who can make a spreadsheet sing. Cassandra is from the mountain town of Clayton, Georgia, and after completing her BFA in Theatre at Valdosta State, she also moved to Atlanta. Her lifelong love of books has shaped every step of her career, from selling them in bookstores to now sharing that love as an elementary school librarian. The two met in 2021 and quickly bonded over their shared love of books, films, and German beer. From the beginning, their personalities clicked in a way that felt both surprising and completely natural: Jordan’s outgoing, funny, nerdy, and spontaneous energy paired perfectly with Cassandra’s quiet, thoughtful, empathetic, and plan‑loving nature. He brings the spark; she brings the grounding. Together, they’ve found a balance that makes every adventure feel just right. Their life together has been filled with joy — from magical trips to Disney World to cozy evenings at home with their pug, Cleo, and their cat, Circe. Jordan has cheered Cassandra on through her MA in Communications and Media Studies, and Cassandra has supported Jordan’s many passions, including his role as a certified Magic: The Gathering judge, where his love of strategy and community really shines. Their home is a blend of planning and spontaneity, heart and humor, books and spreadsheets, fantasy worlds and real‑world coziness. In October 2025, their love story reached a new chapter during a trip to Japan. At the enchanting Ghibli Park, surrounded by the whimsy of their favorite films, Jordan proposed.
