We're getting married!

We met when I was a bridesmaid in John’s sister's wedding in October of 2016! At that time, John lived in Atlanta, and I lived in Birmingham. He asked me out on our first date to El Barrio for dinner in November, and the rest is history! And...almost 4 years exactly after our first date, we will be tying the knot!

We purchased tickets to see Christmas Vacation (John's favorite Christmas movie) at the Alabama Theater with a group of friends. John got our friends, Kelli and Craig, in on the proposal plan and had us carpool with them to the movie VERY early to “save seats for the rest of our friends.” Unbeknownst to me, it was all part of the plan! Once inside, John proposed on the steps of the Alabama Theater! What makes it even more special, is that the Alabama Theater was where we had our second date 3 years prior!
