As much as we love your little ones, we have chosen to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only celebration. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.
Due to limited capacity we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card.
If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date outlined in your invitation, it will be marked as "no". We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner and cannot accept late RSVP's. Thank you for understanding!
Weather dependent, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be held indoors. The average high in November in Sewanee usually falls around 59 degrees F, with the low falling somewhere around 41 degrees F. Plan attire accordingly!
We respectfully request that you leave your phones in your guest rooms during the ceremony. We’ve hired a talented photographer to capture every special moment, and we want you to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” Your support in allowing the photographer to do their job will help us create beautiful, unobstructed memories for everyone to enjoy later! If you are not staying on site at Sewanee Inn, please silence your cell phones and leave them tucked away during the ceremony. Thank you so much for understanding.
