Our Story

November 19, 2022 We met on Hinge and officially started dating. Our very first date was at the Montana State High School Volleyball Tournament — a perfect start that blended sports and fate.

December 31, 2022 We rang in our first New Year’s Eve together and took our first family photo with our dogs, Mony and Junie.

March 01, 2023 Jake made the move to Billings to live with Stormy, taking the next big step in building our life together.

May 18, 2023 Our first trip together took us to Denver. Jake surprised Stormy with Shania Twain tickets and Stormy surprised Jake with tickets to watch the Nuggets take on the Lakers.

January 16, 2024 Stormy moved to Dickinson, North Dakota to begin her new role as Head Volleyball Coach at Dickinson State University. Jake remained in Billings, cheering her on from afar.

April 01, 2024 Jake joined Stormy in Dickinson, North Dakota, starting his new position as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Dickinson State University.

March 04, 2025 Completed their first year at Dickinson State University as coaches. The highlight of the year: Jake’s team winning the North Star Athletic Conference Tournament.

July 04, 2025 Jake proposed on the Fourth of July in the most beautiful and sentimental way — a day we will never forget.

November 23, 2025 Took their engagement photos and officially began wedding planning, counting down to forever.
