Question

Dress code?

Answer

We will have a strict dress code. We ask that our guests wear Semi-Formal Event clothing because why not get dressed up for something and have some fun? For the men the examples include suits/dinner jackets or button up shirts, dress pants, nice shoes, ties aren't required but would look nice. For the women the examples would include classy knee-length dresses, dressy pant suits, flowy floor length dresses, and mid-length dresses. As for color wise above you can find the Dress Code Color Pallet with all the color options available for our guests. The colors include black, shades of grey, darker shades of purple, dark shades of blue, natural greens, and brownish colors. We do ask that all guests follow the Dress Code both in style and color. And remember if all else fails wear Black! Please stay away from the following colors: White, Off-White, Red, Bright neon colors, Creams, and finally light purples/lavender colors. Also any outfit described in white (example: white dress with pink flowers) Since the dress code is Semi-Formal, we ask you to stay away from the following: Jeans (unless nice black pair), Camo, Flannel, Short Skirts, T-Shirts, Shorts, we also ask you stay away from anything covered in rhinestones. Any hats should be black.

Question

Are kids allowed??

Answer

We ask all children aged 4 and under be left at home as this won't be the right environment for them. Kids 11 to 5 are welcome to the reception but not the ceremony. The Ceremony is 12 and up and won't last longer than an hour. We do however encourage parents to use this as a "date-night" if able. Parents will be fully responsible for their children throughout their whole stay at the venue/hotel. Please read the heads-up bellow as well if your considering bringing minors in general.

Question

Little Heads Up!

Answer

This event will not be censored. There will be drunk adults trying to party and have a good time and loud and uncensored music. If any parents don’t want their children around such environment, please don’t bring them.

Question

Plus Ones?

Answer

Unless stated on your invite that you are allowed a plus one (their name will on on invite or say “and guest”) please don't bring one as we have a limited guest count for our venue and our budget and would only like people we know with us on our big day.

Question

Where Is The Wedding?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be at The Hudson Inn in Morris MN.

Question

When Should I Arrive?

Answer

You're welcome to arrive either the Friday night before or we ask all guests are there a half hour before the ceremony starts, so 2:30 would be the more appropriate time to show up. If you wish to come Friday, you'll be able to use the pool, adventure the town/area, try some local restaurants, and chill/rest well the night before.

Question

Parking Options?

Answer

The hotel does have enough parking for our guests but if not there's available lots nearby for the guests who will be coming n leaving the Day of.

Question

Booking Rooms?

Answer

At the Hudson Inn we have blocked out 40 rooms for our guests. Guests are welcome to call the Hudson and book out their rooms any time between now and June 8, 2024. When you call to book your room, ask for the Event Coordinator to help make sure you get in the block. If she’s unavailable just leave your name and number and she should return your call. Then you can tell her the rooms are under the last names Newhouse-Peterson and Goihl for the weekend of June 22, 2024. Pick if you're staying the weekend or for a night. The rooms run about $100-$130 (depending on room) a night but a discount should be applied. You can call the Hudson inn at +1 (320) 589-3030 If your unable to book a room at the Hudson Inn there’s the Grandstay hotel and a Super 8 within 2-3 blocks of the Hudson/Venue that guests can also book rooms at. We don’t have any blocked out rooms there.

Food of the night will be Pizza, Pasta and Salad. Along with a snack table that will be open the whole night. There will be vegetarian safe options of pasta and pizza as well.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
