Flight
We recommend flying with El Al. If you are making a long haul flight, consider any airline to Europe/Asia and then from Europe/Asia to Israel via El Al.
Travel Note
We recommend downloading the app "Gett" for taxi service BEFORE you fly to Tel Aviv (when you land, you'll have wifi in the airport, but you won't have service) - this is pretty much the Israeli version of Uber or Lyft. Taxis from Ben Gurion Airport are regulated, so be sure to go the taxi line instead of going with a random car offering taxi service. If you place a taxi order through Gett, you'll receive a ride code. Go to the taxi line on the ground floor at exit 03 and show the code to the driver. More info on Gett: https://www.gett.com/il/airport-en/ If you're not using Gett, you can wait for a taxi and pay cash. Always tell them to use the meter.

House Or Rental
Airbnb is also a great option for Tel Aviv (sometimes more affordable too), especially if you know which Tel Aviv neighborhoods you like.
