Storm and Brett met in Philadelphia in the autumn of 2022, and it wasn’t long before they realized they had something special. Six months later, they were sharing an apartment in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood, where Brett honed his impressive culinary talents, and Storm was his dedicated taste tester. Outgoing and adventurous, Storm drew Brett into her active social world; the couple spent weekends taking in concerts, comedy shows, and last minute getaways. As a pair and with family, they enjoyed trips all along the coast, from Maine to the Florida Everglades. In June 2024, the couple took a weeklong trip to Cartagena, Colombia, with a handful of their closest friends. There, by the coral stone walls of the old Spanish fort, Brett proposed to Storm with a vintage diamond ring engraved with both of their initials. She said yes, of course. Soon after, the search for their true home began, and that summer they found it: Situated between their respective family homes (Brett’s in Delaware, and Storm’s in Lancaster County) was a spacious Spanish Revival where their four cats and three dogs could enjoy sunny afternoons in a deep, wooded lot. Storm went to work styling the house with warm, dramatic flair and soon the couple were hosting parties, serving poolside cocktails, and enjoying sleepovers with their niece and nephews. This past year, they hosted their first round of family holidays. Now, they are thrilled to invite you along to share in all the traditions and adventures to come…. the wedding is just the beginning!
