Whittier is such a quaint fishing town. The drive to Whittier is absolutely beautiful and worth the trip. You have to look at the tunnel times to see when you would be able to enter and leave. YOU CANNOT MISS THE TIMES. Whittier is famous for the residents living in one hotel / apartment building.
From bears, moose, wolves, foxs, musk ox, buffalo, and Reindeer. These animals have been rehabilitated and now live at the conservation center.
This is one of Branden and Storey’s FAVORITE places to go. They have an active goldmine and restaurant that you can go to. Make sure to check the hrs. They perfect place to drive through or camp.

Very very easy hike and only $5.00 parking. This is such a beautiful walk to see the Alaskan mountains.
