The Shout House is a super fun dueling piano bar where you can request songs of your choice with special shoutouts! The first time we went there, someone requested The Circle of Life and the boys all lifted Alex up like Simba. Great atmosphere that won't disappoint!
San Diego's Premier Beachfront Amusement Park, features historic Giant Dipper roller coaster, historic Plunge swimming pool, plus restaurants, shops & more!
Balboa Park is one of San Diego's most treasured green spaces. It is home to not only gardens and walking paths, but also museums, several theaters, and the San Diego Zoo.
We have yet to go but I've been dying to get out there! The SDBG has 29 different gardens that span 15 different regions of the world. Fun wedding fact - this was a consideration as a venue!
I know, I know, I'm the first person to say no to a Zoo because I feel for the animals. Thankfully, the San Diego Zoo is committed to its wildlife. The San Diego zoo has released 44 species back into the wild, with 180 rhinos being born at the safari park, and 22 years of research on the giant panda. There are also 45 countries with the San Diego Zoo Global Conservation Project, more than 380 collaborative partnerships, and three continents where they conduct educational outreach programs. This zoo is at the forefront of conservation and education regarding our planet’s wildlife.
Similar to the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Safari Park has been a pioneer in providing the best enclosures for its animals, being involved in research on captive breeding and conservation, has one of the best zoo veterinary hospitals.
Great spot for burgers and drinks! It is a favorite of SD locals and in one of our favorite neighborhoods, South Park.
Can't go wrong walking around Pacific Beach (PB), popping into the shops, and down the pier before heading to the beach for a relaxing day.
