Sarah is Hannah's little sister and favorite person to share a hotel room with for all Stone family vacations. Sarah and Hannah have done it all together. While some could say it was forced due to having the same parents, Sarah is the best forced friend Hannah could have ever asked for. Sarah is the sister who will sit with you on the phone when you're going through a rough time, laugh at all your jokes (even the ones that didn't land), and be your biggest supporter, even through the minor things going on in your life. Although Hannah asked her parents and grandparents to take Sarah back to the baby store when she was first born, she's very glad they didn't.
Kristina Escudero

Kristina and Hannah met in the 1st grade at The Bolles School. Outside of being classmates and best friends almost instantaneously, they played on the same soccer team 1st grade through senior year of high school and made a come back playing on the study abroad team while living in Valencia, Spain together for a semester. Although it only lasted 6 months and a one night only performance in the Morris family living room, it is also worth noting Kristina and Hannah formed a band at age 8 called "The Dudes." While living in different cities is tough, Kristina and Hannah make a point to see each other as often as possible. Most recently Hannah accompanied Kristina as her plus one to Saturday Night Live when she won the SNL lottery and they had the best 24 hours together in NYC!
Shelby Stone

After years of competing against each other on separate rivalry soccer teams, Shelby and Hannah officially met and became best friends while on Coach Julio's soccer team at 14 years old. They have remained super close to this day, even going so far as to visiting each other at Auburn and Florida State almost every couple of months when in college and being each other's plus ones on Stone and Sebesta family vacations. It is important to note that in 2020 Shelby married Brad Stone who is completely unrelated to Hannah but gave her the dream of sharing the same last name with her best friend for two years before she became a Pae. Hannah makes a point to see Shelby every time she goes back to Jacksonville where Shelby lives with her husband and adorable newborn baby Colby!
Brittney McQuillen

Brittney and Hannah met at preschool at the JCA at age 3. They did everything together from family vacations, children's theatre and sleep away camp for 4 years in North Carolina. Growing up, Brittney was always the MVP best friend who would come over for sleepovers when Hannah got stuck babysitting her little sister Sarah on weekend nights. Although they went to separate colleges, Brittney and Hannah always made a point to visit each other every couple of months or so at Florida State and Auburn. Brittney and her husband Colin love Nashville and make a point to visit every now and then and Hannah always makes sure to see Brittney when she goes back to Jacksonville.
Jacki Artis

Jacki and Hannah met the first month Hannah moved to Nashville in 2019. Their friendship grew over 2020 with a shared love of live music, lake days, girls trips, yacht rock, and always planning activities to keep them on-the-go. Jacki was the first friend Hannah called after her first date with Derek and she was one of Hannah's first friends to ever meet Derek. Derek and Jacki are now great friends as well and they all get together at least once a week. One could say Jacki is part of the fam now that she hangs out with Hannah's first cousin, George, as much as Hannah herself does these days. Hannah and Derek feel so lucky having such a supportive and great friend like Jacki in Nashville with them!
Lindsay Lanahan

Lindsay was Hannah's first friend in Nashville. Her husband, Patrick, went to middle school through high school with Hannah and felt that the two of them would hit it off as friends when Hannah said she needed some girl friends in Nashville upon the recent move from Los Angeles. Patrick was right and the two of them became instant friends! Lindsay and Hannah have been there for each other through so many pivotal and big moments in their lives over the past few years. Lindsay may not remember this but after Hannah and Derek's third date Hannah was on the phone with Lindsay and Jacki recapping how great the date was and Lindsay said "You have to marry this guy!" Hannah can't wait for Lindsay to be there by her side as she says "I Do" to Derek.
Sara Pae

Sara is Derek's little sister and Hannah's favorite future sister-in-law. Sara and Hannah first officially met in May 2021 in San Diego but first met on the phone in May 2020 on Derek and Hannah's first date. Hannah knew they would click immediately through their shared sense of humor, love of dogs and connection of both having lived in Los Angeles. Hannah can't wait to see their friendship continue to grow!
Morgan Patrylo
Best Man
Derek and Morgan first met in medical school at the University of Virginia and have been close ever since. When Derek moved to Nashville in 2016, they were roommates for 2 years before they decided to branch out on their own and find their own houses…3 blocks away from each other. This proximity allows Derek to convince Morgan let him see his dogs Murphy and Louise and grab a happy hour beer nearby. Morgan is a neurologist and stroke specialist, as well as being an avid chess enthusiast. He and his wife Jessica just had their first child Peter, so wish them a warm congratulations when you see them!
Sandeep Segar
Groomsman
Sandeep is Derek’s oldest friend, having met in 7th grade homeroom. Since then, they’ve been through it all: middle and high school, college at Penn State together, working at Fish Tales during one summer and an epic backpacking trip through Europe. Sandeep and Derek also have spent long nights on the phone getting each other through internal medicine residency, and now Sandeep is a practicing hospitalist in San Diego, and definitely takes advantage of his proximity to the ocean as an avid surfer.
Josiah Bethards
Groomsman
Josiah is Derek’s second oldest friend, having met in 8th grade but really becoming best friends in high school. Although he went to college at Amherst in Massachusetts, Derek still was able to visit his freshman year and got to meet Josiah’s amazing wife Andrea before they were officially dating. Josiah and Andrea were kind enough to have Derek stay with them multiple times when they lived in New York City, and even allowed him to live with them for a month when Derek worked at ABC News (and Josiah was in Columbia Law School and Andrea was pregnant!). Josiah is now a lawyer in Dallas and the father of two daughters.
Jim O'Brien

When Derek and Jim met the first night of acapella practice at Penn State their freshman year, little did they know it would lead to a lifelong friendship. They kept in touch while Derek was in medical school, and when he moved to Pittsburgh for internal medicine residency, they were reunited for the next 3 years. Jim is an excellent musician and guitarist and has written multiple songs available on Spotify. He is the father of two sons, both of whom share his passion for Spiderman.
Andy Hulme
Groomsman
Andy and Derek met their intern year at the University of Pittsburgh, and had the fortune of being co-interns during one rotation. They were both members of the band, Bropofol, which had the pleasure of playing many evenings at the Smiling Moose in downtown Pittsburgh. Andy was the bassist and still slaps the bass from time to time. Andy just got married in October 2021 (wish him a congratulations when you see him!) and works as an anesthesiologist.
Adam White
Groomsman
When Derek first moved to Nashville, Morgan introduced him to Adam and they became fast friends. Adam is adventurous, and while the rest of their friends were sleeping, Adam and Derek explored Copenhagen by bike and Brussels by bus. Although Adam cannot be convinced to play board games anymore, they still spend plenty of time together arguing over life philosophy and making fun of Morgan. Adam is a musician as well and plays guitar in his band, Professional Gaze.
Leland Weyant
Groomsman
As the groom’s step-brother since Derek was eight, Leland has known him the longest. From elementary school days to family vacations to Fenwick Island, Costa Rica and the Florida Keys, Leland has seen Derek through it all. Almost annually they spend Thanksgiving together, traditionally going to see the Pink Floyd cover band back home in Pennsylvania. Leland is married to Krystal, and they have 3 children together: Landon, Addison and Harper.
