Annalise is my little sister! I almost exclusively call her Truffle which originated from the insult of silly little truffle from an iCarly episode. Even though we are in different states we are very close and talk every day about something, usually a random thought that I think is too stupid to tell Jacob. Jacob and Annalise have a shared hobby of bird watching- whenever we are all together they will always find a way to break out their birding binoculars.
Charlie Quinlivan
Best Man
Charlie is one of my best friends from high school and continues to be one of our closest friends in Kansas City. We met during a fine arts survey class freshman year of high school and we have stayed super close ever since. Charlie is the one who convinced me to move to Kansas City after college which eventually led to Ali and I meeting. Charlie and Ali love to team up against me in board games which often leads to my downfall.
Paige Park

Paige is my oldest childhood friend, so much so I don't remember meeting her! Paige has been there for every stage of life- elementary school pool parties and webkinz, taking drivers ed together, visiting each other in our college towns to now being engaged at the same time.
Davis Wade

Davis is my best friend from college where we met freshman year in the dorms at UW - Madison. We spent the next three years living with our other college friends in a series of progressively nicer houses. Anyone who has met Davis knows he is always willing to share advice, endless conversations about his latest hobbies, or a witty joke. Davis lent his skills to us during my proposal where he served as the photographer to capture the moment I popped the question during a hike out in Denver.
Nicole Supernaw

Nicole and I were on the same floor freshman year in the dorms at KU. We were both silly enough to pick one of the cheapest dorms on the edge of campus. She is the ultimate hype woman, the best cook and always down for a hike (really a walk) around Clinton Lake. She was the first of my friends to get to really get to know Jacob. We went on a double date to an escape room and did not know what we were getting ourselves into. Jacob lead the way for us to escape and the photo afterwards is the first photo of Jacob and I.
George Howe

George and I go all the way back to Kindergarten and have grown up alongside each other all the way to today. We spent pretty much every weekend together from the time we were 5 through senior year of high school. George has always been there for me including a time where I got stranded at the Houston airport after visiting Ali during her residency in College Station. Whenever we’re back in St. Louis, Ali and I make it a point to meet up with George and his fiancé Brenna to catch up and continue to grow our friendship.
Flammy Huo

Flammy and I met outside our dorm on our way to a freshman event before classes started. We figured out we lived across the hall from each other and she quickly became my first friend at KU. Flammy was like family right away and even ended up spending Christmas with my family one year after she moved to Texas. She fit right in! Whenever she is in town we end up playing board games and Jacob inevitably wins while we are busy chatting away.
Tom Walsh

Tom (or Walsh as I call him) is one of my lifelong friends. We met in grade school and still hang out in Kansas City. We became close in high school where we spent most weekends hanging out in people’s basements. We still get together now and hang out in basements but now they're our own places instead of our parents. Walsh is always willing to lend a hand and has become one of Remmy’s favorite dog sitters when Ali and I go out of town.
Rachael Stonecipher

Rachael is my sister-in-law who has been around since I was in middle school so really more like a sister at this point. I talk to Rachael more than my own brother and is the only reason I know what is going on in his life because he is a horrible texter. I'm sure she has really enjoys finally having someone else around at family events that will agree with her that some things are just unique to the family and are not universal (Like that toast shouldn't just be warm bread).
Nick Booth

Nick is one of my high school best friends. We met through cross country and were the goofballs of the group. We stayed close in college since we went to school only a couple hours apart and made the trip to each other’s schools about once a year. Nick has given us plenty of tips about wedding planning since he and his wife Cassie went through it all just a few years ago.
Madison Tyrrell

Madison is Jacobs younger sister. Her and her husband got engaged and married right around the same time as us. We have been able to share this busy season of our lives together. The Colvis's are also a big game family with Jacob usually winning. Madison and I cherish the few times we manage to beat Jacob.
Drew Stonecipher
Groomsman
Drew, or better known as Boy to Ali and her friends, is Ali's older brother. Drew and I spend a lot of time together when Ali and Annalise are busy sharing their sisterly bond. Since Drew and I are both engineers, we often get enlisted by his dad, David, to take a look at the latest problem he’s troubleshooting on the house or his cars.
