FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 14th (the same day our discount code ends for room reservations)

Question

What date should we arrive?

Answer

The bride and groom recommend arriving Thursday May 14th for ample travel time. We have wedding events on Friday May 15th that we would love for you to attend. Please reference the "Schedule" tab for more information on these events.

Question

What travel requirements are there?

Answer

You will need a valid passport or visa and drivers license. We recommend updating your drivers license to the RealID. Please make sure your passport has not expired. If you need to obtain a passport, the travel board recommends getting started at least 6 months before your international travel date. For information on passports and visas, please visit www.uspassportandvisa.org For more information on international travel, please visit www.travel.state.gov

Question

Is it required to stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort?

Answer

Yes, all wedding guests are required to stay at the resort. If this is an issue, please reach out to the bride or groom so that we can further accommodate you.

Question

What payment method should I bring?

Answer

Please travel with some pesos for tips and additional cash needs as well as a credit card. The resort takes major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider to discuss foreign transaction fees. We encourage guests to exchange USD for Mexican Pesos (MXN) before the trip. Check with your bank to see if they offer no or minimal fee on international currency exchange. It is strongly advised to do this in advance and not at the airport since there is usually a significant up-charge.

Question

What is included in the “all-Inclusive” package?

Answer

With your all-inclusive package, you’ll enjoy 24-hour on-call service, access to a variety of award-winning restaurants and bars, and a range of activities and classes. The all-inclusive packages include breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and beverages, ranging from casual beach and poolside options to fine dining and gourmet restaurants. Please be mindful that the resort's "fine dining" restaurants do have a dress code. The rest of the resort's food options are casual.

Question

Will there be allergy-friendly food options at the resort and the wedding?

Answer

Yes, the resort offers many different restaurants with allergy friendly options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free guests. Please let the bride and groom know about any allergies in your RSVP.

Question

Does the resort have WiFi and U.S. outlets?

Answer

Yes! The resort has high-speed WiFi that is included in your all-inclusive package. All rooms are fitted with U.S. standard electrical outlets, so you will not need a converter.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! For our “Welcome Party” we are encouraging resort-cocktail attire. For our wedding ceremony and reception we require semi-formal beach attire. We encourage all colors but we kindly ask that no one wear white to wedding events. Remember your Cabo flare and resort beachwear! We can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a wedding registry that you can access through our wedding website. We are not currently registered at any stores. The bride and groom encourage guests to donate to their “Honeymoon” fund in lieu of traditional gifts. Any amount will help make our travel plans even more special.
