Our story

A cold fall night at a McDonald’s drive thru

Sean and I first met back in 2016 through the dating app tinder. Sean was new to the Chicagoland area looking to make more friends there, while I was on the verge of giving up on love forever. We both felt that we were not in the right place to be in a relationship with him attending school at Purdue, and myself in the PTA program in Kenosha, so we decided to be friends. After 3 months of endless late night FaceTime calls and constant texting we decided to finally meet over thanksgiving break. I drove over to pick him up where we ended up at the only place that was open that night, McDonald’s. We both ordered McFlurrys and talked for hours. After that night we immediately decided to see each other the next day where we spent all day together at his house, with all of his family. I instantly felt at home with all of them and knew that Sean was someone so special. We went on getting to know each other for another year and a half before he finally decided to ask me to be his girlfriend. After 4 years together Sean popped the question just shortly after our anniversary at my family home in Delavan, Wisconsin. He took me to the beach where my grandpas memorial bench sits overlooking the water, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of course I screamed YES! Sean and I have been happily growing our lives together in the Indianapolis area with our sweet husky, Stella. We are very excited to share this special time with you all.
