How do I RSVP?

Answer

We ask you to please RSVP via the website. Please kindly RSVP by 04/25/2024

Answer

Bissel Creek Meadows is located at 5601 W Black Canyon Hwy, Emmett, ID 83617

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking located directly next to the venue. The venue coordinator will have someone there to help facilitate parking

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. However, if there is inclement weather, there is a covered space to hold both the ceremony and reception.

Are there any hotel blocks for the wedding?

Answer

No, there are no hotel blocks. However, if you follow the link, we have listed some hotels around the area that are clean and well-maintained https://tinyurl.com/5y4rr96y

Will there be transportation to and from hotels to the venue?

Answer

No, we will not be providing transportation.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Idaho weather in May can be a little questionable. To be prepared, it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring a coat or umbrella to use in between the parking lot and the covered venue space if it is needed.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unless it is stated specifically on your invite that you can bring a plus-one, please do not bring one. Due to venue sizing, we are only able to accommodate a certain number of people. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome, however please keep in mind that the venue is near a stream so you will need to keep an eye on your children throughout the night. We will have some coloring pages and crayons for younger children who will need to be entertained.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Sunday best!

What kind of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be having pulled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and cheddar biscuits. We will also be serving a spinach cranberry salad with a raspberry vinaigrette. There will be non-alcoholic drinks available as well.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a bar that will be able to give out drinks until we hit a certain amount in sales. Once that point has been hit, guests will be asked to pay for their own drinks.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! We have two, one through Zola and one through Target. If you scroll to the bottom of the registry tab, there is a link that will take you to our registry. You do need to press "see more" on some of the sections in order to see everything that is on the list.

Where should I bring/send presents?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1708 W Camelot Drive Nampa, ID 83651. A wedding card box and gift table will also be at our reception

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Similarly to the registry, there is a tab up at the top of the website that will show you our wedding day itinerary

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm, we recommend that you get to the venue around 4:10-4:20.

When will the reception end/Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end at 10:30 pm. We will not be having an after-party

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be. There will be roughly 1 hr between the ceremony and reception to take pictures. The food will be out and the bar will be open. We will also have some yard games out to keep you entertained until we are ready to enter the reception

Are there any other wedding events throughout the weekend?

Answer

No, we will not be having any other events throughout the weekend

Am I allowed to take pictures of the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you please do not take pictures throughout the ceremony. We will have a photographer taking pictures of the ceremony. However, you are free to take pictures/videos of the reception

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

Our wedding hashtag is #stokedtobeastokes. Please use the hashtag if you post any pictures from the wedding! We would love to see all the fun you had! :)

Can I post wedding pictures online?

Answer

Yes! As was stated above, we would love to see the fun pictures and videos you took throughout the night of the reception. Just please use our wedding hashtag!
