The Narrows Hike

Hiking Attire & Gear Rental (Dry Pant Package)

If you so choose, we would LOVE to have you join us to hike "The Narrows". The Narrows is the most popular hike in Zion National Park, and one of the world's best slot canyon hikes. The canyon is so narrow, the river covers the bottom in many spots, which means the majority of the hike is through the water. Proper gear to protect our feet and keep us dry will be necessary. We recommend the "Dry Pant Package" from ZION ADVENTURES. The starting point for the hike is at the Temple of Sinawava. From there we will travel approximately 3-4 miles up the river and then 3-4 miles back. The hike takes approximately 6-7 hours so bring plenty of water and snacks. Together, we will meet at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center to ride the shuttle into Zion Canyon, to Temple of Sinawava (Stop 9), which takes about 30-45 minutes before we can get off and begin the hike. The specific location of our Zion ceremony will be scoped out and determined a few days prior to the wedding date. We anticipate it being along the Mt. Carmel Highway along the East Entrance to Zion National Park. Once determined, the exact location will be communicated to those in attendance.
