We're Getting Hitched!

Rachel's best friend Lisa (who happens to also be Chris' cousin), introduced us at an event Chris was hosting in October 2013. We exchanged numbers and had our first date on November 21, 2013, where Chris grilled steak and veggies and now he's stuck cooking (most of the) dinners!

We had talked about getting married eventually, to the extent that Rachel redesigned a family ring to be her future engagement ring. Unbeknownst to her, Chris had already asked her parent's permission, and is making payments towards the hefty dowry Sean asked for! We were celebrating our 4th dating anniversary in January 2018 and Chris had bought Rachel a dozen beautiful long stem red roses (which he's never done before). After cooking dinner together, while we were 'belly up' on the couch, Chris got down on one knee and forever, here we come!

If the wedding alone wasn’t enough action for you - the weekend holds a lot of events! Saturday happens to fall on both the Kentucky Derby and Star Wars Day (May the 4th Be With You)... SO bring your Chewbacca masks, wear your derby hats, place your bets (literally, bring a few bucks to gamble at the Rehearsal Dinner on Friday night) and don’t forget to put on your tequila drinking shoes in honor of Cinco de Mayo on Sunday!
