FAQs

Question

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

Yes! There are plenty of accommodation options within about a 20 to 30-minute drive. Please check out the travel page in the tabs above for the reserved room block we have set up for our guests. Contact Courtney directly if you have questions or need assistance booking.

Question

What should I wear for the Wedding?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail attire in the color black. Think dressy jumpsuits, pant suits, cocktail dresses, little black dresses, or other elevated evening wear. Dark jackets (if needed for weather), dress shirts, and slacks are perfect. Feel free to have fun with accessories, but overall we’re aiming for a chic and polished look (not too buttoned up) to match the celebration.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:30pm, and we recommend arriving about 10-15 minutes early to grab a seat and get settled. **If you arrive a little earlier, please make your way to the ceremony area patiently, as things may still be getting set up. After parking, simply walk straight across the grass (tents may be set up) to the pebbled pathway leading into the trees—signs will be there to guide you.

Question

How do I get to the Venue from my Accommodation?

Answer

If you’re renting a car, there is plenty of parking available on site at the venue. Feel free to reach out to Courtney—she will be able to help you secure a rental car discount. Uber and Lyft are available in the area, but we recommend requesting your ride a bit earlier than usual, as driver wait times can be longer. If you’re staying at the hotel room block we’ve reserved, there may also be opportunities to carpool with fellow guests. Please reach out to Courtney for more.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we’ve only budgeted for the specific number of guests invited. Your invitation will state if you have a plus one included in the count. If you’d like to discuss an exception, please reach out to us directly—we’re happy to consider on a case-by-case basis.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our ceremony and reception be an adults-only celebration. That said, we understand that certain situations may call for exceptions—please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly if you’d like to discuss. If we have discussed your children coming with you already, please ignore this note.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! The couple who owns Meadow & Pines has set aside dedicated space for parking on their land. As you arrive, just follow the signs and you’ll be guided to the right spot.

Question

Can we take photos or post on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, so phones and cameras won’t be allowed unless previously approved. After the ceremony, we’ll provide a QR code for an app where guests can take photos that will automatically upload to a shared event album. Please give us a few days to review the photos—after that, they’ll be public and you are welcome to enjoy, post, and share them as you wish. #stockeduponlove

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please contact Courtney ASAP @ 360-518-6934 to let her know if you require a vegetarian option or have highly specific food allergens.

Question

What kind of weather should we prepare for?

Answer

The area in mid-June is usually mild and beautiful, with daytime highs in the 70s (sometimes into the 80s), but can also dip into the 60s and occasionally bring a chance of rain. Since we’ll be celebrating outdoors mostly, we recommend dressing for some sunshine but preparing for cooler evenings. A light jacket or wrap and comfy shoes for grass are a good idea—plus sunglasses for festivities before the sun goes down!

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! After the ceremony, guests are invited to the patio and barn area for drinks and pre-dinner snacks. Around 6:30 PM, a dinner buffet will be available, and guests can plate up and then head to the tables to enjoy.

Question

Will there be a dance floor/music?

Answer

Yes! There will be music throughout the evening. While we won’t have a dedicated “dance floor,” a portion of the patio will be cleared for dancing as cocktail tables are relocated. Instead of a traditional first dance with all eyes on us, we’ll invite everyone to dance alongside us. Not a dancer? No worries—there will also be lawn games and plenty of other ways to enjoy the celebration.

Question

Are restrooms available on site?

Answer

Yes! Luxury trailer restrooms will be available on the property. Please note that they are elevated above the ground and require three steps to enter, but a handle is provided to assist with access.
