What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting black-tie optional attire for our wedding. Ladies can wear jumpsuits, floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses. Gentlemen can wear suits, button ups with dress pants, or a tuxedo if they choose. No jeans please.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invite says “and guest,” yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping things cozy and won't be able to accommodate extra guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends! However, we kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. Use this event as a date night!

Is parking available for the ceremony?

Answer

There is an available parking lot located behind St. Vincent De Paul Church, as well as validated parking at the university Sheffield Parking Garage (located at 2331 N. What should we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Enjoy the city or head back to the hotel early to relax before the party begins! check out our Things to Do tab to explore some of our favorite spots throughout Chicago!

I'm not staying at the venue hotel, can I still come to the send-off brunch?

Answer

Of course! All guests are welcome to attend the brunch on Sunday morning. You can pop in and grab coffee and a snack on your way out or hang out for a while to catch up! Whether you plan to stay 10 minutes or an hour, we kindly ask you to RSVP so we can get an accurate count for food and space.

Are there transit options available if I want to go explore downtown Chicago?

Answer

Yes! The hotel is a 10 minute drive away from the Westmont train station (BNSF Metra line) that will drop you off at Chicago Union Station into the heart of the city. Tickets can be bought at the station, on the train, or through the Ventra mobile app.
