Question

Do guests have to stay at the wedding resort?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding will be hosted at Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa, and the resort requires that all wedding guests stay on-site in order to attend the wedding events. This policy is set by the resort and is non-negotiable.

What dates should I book my stay?

Answer

Our wedding events run from Monday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 10, 2027. We recommend arriving Sunday, March 7 and departing Thursday, March 11 to enjoy all planned events and have a relaxed experience. Early arrival on Monday is also acceptable if needed.

What if my flight arrives before check-in time?

Answer

Resort check-in begins at 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, the resort will happily store your luggage and you may begin enjoying the property and amenities while your room is prepared.

Getting there

Answer

Guests are responsible for arranging and covering transportation to and from the resort. The resort concierge can assist with coordinating transportation services, which can be booked directly through their website. Complimentary on-site parking is available for those who choose to rent a car.

Are children invited?

Answer

No. Our wedding will be a 21+ celebration. We have made a few special exceptions for children who are specifically named on the invitation. We kindly ask that all other guests make arrangements accordingly and respect our wishes.

What should I wear to each event?

• Welcome Party (Day 1): All-white attire. Think chic, elevated, and vacation glam. Ladies: flowy dresses, sets, or sleek silhouettes. Gentlemen: linen sets, white button-downs, or tailored shorts/pants. • Wedding Day (Day 2): Formal destination attire. Please no white—this color is reserved for the bride. Think elegant, elevated evening wear. Ladies: floor-length or midi dresses. Gentlemen: suits with jackets required. • Day 3: TBD
