Maid of Honor
Lifelong sister and best friend. Sam has been in my life since I was born and we lived next door to each other for about 24 years. Shes been there for every big moment in my life and her family has adopted me into theirs (whether it was by choice or not). We have essentially done everything together from late night bike rides for cookie dough, camping (and learning to dance by those girls in Wildwood), burying her mothers Christmas decor in the woods, being “brides” together, getting VHS tapes thrown at us whenever we tried to include Devin, going to LA and not thinking we would survive the AirBnB OR that hike, and accidentally going to the club on Latina night. Her favorite pastime however, is showing everyone I cry when she scares me.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and I met the first day of our graduate program at FIU. When we eventually got to talking, we instantly became best friends and inseparable. Shannon has gotten me through a lot the last few years and anyone that has hung out with us for any period of time can tell you we essentially have the same personality, and ridiculous sense of humor. I can ALWAYS count on Shannon for truly appreciating my jokes, no matter how awful everyone else says they are. Every time she kidnapped me out of my apartment, it usually started as something simple as brunch, and then I didn’t end up getting home until the next day. She is always thinking of me, and always cheering me on and I am forever grateful to have her.
Best Man
Robby is my older brother, and the closest to me in age. He was probably my biggest influence growing up (whether it was a good influence or bad). From me blaming him when I shot out the sliding glass door in our apartment growing up to us leaning on each other when we needed it most. We have been through a lot together growing up and even since we’ve been apart for 6 years, we still talk on the phone daily. He's not only my brother but one of my closest friends. There isn’t anyone else id rather have standing by my side on my wedding day.
Groomsman
While Chase is my oldest brother, we to have been through a lot growing up. He was a big influence on me as well (also not sure if that was good or bad). He's always been one of my biggest supporters in life, encouraging me to be the best I can be. One of my favorite memories growing up with Chase, is he acted as our security guard for Robby and I when we went skateboarding and he would convince actual security guards from various store parking lots and businesses to leave us be so we can continue skateboarding. He has provided me with two beautiful nieces that will be apart of our wedding.
Flower Girl
Ameilia is 6 years old and enjoys unicorns, dancing, and playing outside. This will be her second time in Texas and she is super excited for it and can't wait to see her Texas cousins!
Flower Girl
Aurora is 1 years old and is very excited to help her big sister throw flowers down the isle! Aurora enjoys playing with her building blocks, toy cars and planes, and enjoys pretending to read children books.
Ring Bearer Escort
Makayla is Jess’ cousin and will finally be making it to Texas to visit for the first time! Due to covid in the past she hasn’t been able to make it here and we are super excited for her. She will be Chewy’s escort down the isle to help him deliver the rings.
Ring Bearer
Chewbarka (Chewy) is 2 years old and is hopefully trained well enough to give us our rings. Chewbarka enjoys long walks on the beach, playing with his ball, and bones. He will be accompanied down the isle by his older cousin Makayla.
