The Adventure Begins!

2018 The story begins when Autumn and Andrew's middle school friend groups merged in Stuttgart, Germany. While Trick-or-Treating, Autumn tried to make conversation with Andrew, but he was so nervous that he could barely talk. After this, Autumn and Andrew naturally avoided each other in the way preteens do. 2019 At the end of freshman year, Ryan, a mutual friend, told Autumn that Andrew had a crush on her. Turning her attention to Andrew, she realized he was cute and tried to get to know him, eventually getting his number by saying, "Let's finish this conversation on the phone." The two immediately connected. The friend group was going to Springfest in March, which Autumn took as an opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with Andrew. This became the infamous first date. Three months later, the two were faced with the Stiens' reassignment to Florida. They decided the relationship was worth it and tried long distance. 2019 - 2022 Autumn and Andrew did three years of long-distance. With a lot of support from their families, the two were able to see each other every chance they could. They have fond memories of joint family vacations, school dances, and spending holidays together. 2022 Autumn and Andrew both made the decision to attend Colorado State University (CSU). They moved into the dorms in August and made the most of their college experience. They spent their time with friends, hiking, and travelling together. 2025 On September 13th, Andrew and Autumn go on a camping and hiking trip with some friends. After a gruesome 5-hour, steep hike to the top of Mt. Bierstadt, Andrew gets down on one knee... and a new whole new adventure begins! 2026 and Beyond... After graduating from CSU in May, the couple is at the whims of the U.S. Air Force for Autumn's assignment that will determine their future home. Despite this uncertainty, they are excited to go into the unknown together.
