Question

Where are the Ceremony and Reception being held?

Answer

The Ceremony will be held at Covenant-First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Cincinnati, beginning at 4pm. The Reception will be held at The Bell Event Center in Downtown Cincinnati, beginning with a cocktail hour at 5pm. The Ceremony and Reception venues are a 5 minute drive apart

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail. For men, a suit and tie is encouraged and acceptable. For women, an elegant look wearing a knee-length dress, tea-length dress, midi dress, full-length dress, or a dressy pantsuit is encouraged and acceptable. The Bridesmaids will be in full-length green satin dresses. Matt and Sydney love getting dressed up and going on fancy dates, we encourage our guests to have that fancy date mindset! This is our fanciest date yet and we're hoping our guests will join us in style. Don't overthink it, we just want our guests to look and feel their best, and enjoy the ambiance with us. Just remember: no jeans or white dresses.

Where do I park?

Answer

Ceremony: There are multiple paid parking garages surrounding the church, the closest being the 222 W 7th St Garage. Please plan accordingly. Reception: There are 90 parking spots available at the Bell Event Center. Parking is free.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held indoors.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, Ceremony: Covenant First Presbyterian Church has a ramped entrance available for handicap accessibility, Reception: The Bell Event Center has handicap parking spaces and ramps to get into the venue space.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive at the wedding ceremony 30 minutes before it starts. Please plan ahead for parking in the garage. Thank you!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We know you are so excited to capture the day with us! But, please be respectful of our photographer, videographer, and the church, and refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. You are welcome to take photos during the reception, but please be respectful of our other guests and our photographer when doing so.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a salad, potatoes, green beans, and two proteins - Chicken and Fish. Cake from the Bon Bonerie will follow dinner.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know when you RSVP so we can inform the catering staff.

Answer

Beer, wine, and signature cocktails will be provided throughout the reception.

Should I leave my coat in the car?

Answer

No need! Our reception venue has a coat check with an attendant.

Answer

The wedding reception will be over at 9pm

Answer

We are registered through Zola (our wedding website platform). You can find our wedding registry under the Registry tab on our wedding website (the site you are on right now).
