Binghamton University Homecoming will be the weekend of our wedding. Events will be occurring starting on Friday and running through Sunday. Many of the events are free, although all do require registration before September 22. While most events are on the main campus in Vestal, some events are in downtown Binghamton, and some events are at the Health Sciences Campus in Johnson City.
A little diner in Apalachin, not far from the church (and adjacent to the Comfort Inn). The food is typical diner food, but the desserts are wonderful! Besides, it has a giant dolphin on the roof; how could you go wrong with that?
This family fun park might have a crappy name, but has lots of fun things that kids (of all ages) would like, including mini golf, batting cages, outdoor laser tag, and homemade ice cream.
They have a fun outdoor field where you can "try out" various sporting equipment!
A fun place for kids (of all ages)! Check out the ambulance exhibit (shameless EMS plug by Kyle).
This was our first date location! ❤️
One of many great ice cream shops in the greater Binghamton area. This is on the way to/from the wedding venues!
Dave and Busters opening July 2024!
This is where we had our first day date! ❤️
Another great ice cream shop. Get the Cookie Monster sundae; you won't be disappointed!
The Binghamton area's casino, Tioga Downs has plenty of gaming options, as well as a great lunch/dinner buffet at a reasonable price. Horse racing enthusiasts will also enjoy the casino's on-site horse track and horse betting stations. Sports betting is also available on site. Tioga Downs is located outside Nichols, about 40 minutes (or 32 miles) west of Binghamton, via Interstate 86/New York State Route 17.
