In 2016 we packed up our our belongings and drove cross country to move to Seattle for two years while Amanda was attending graduate school at the University of Washington. While we took some time to get used to the west coast way of living, over the next two years we fell in love with the city and all the beautiful nature just a short drive away. When we moved back east in 2018 we knew we were leaving a piece of our hearts in Seattle and vowed to come back. This past year has sure had its ups and downs, but it ended on a high note for us: Robert proposed on 10/24/2020. When starting to plan our wedding, after being together for 8+ years, we knew we didn't want to wait very long. With the pandemic still ongoing, and no indication on when we would be able to have a wedding that was safe for all our family and friends to attend, we decided to head back out west to "elope". We will be saying our vows with our immediate family in Mount Rainier National Park on July, 28th, 2021. We can't wait to share the story of that day and celebrate with you all at a reception at the Claridge in Atlantic City on October 23rd, 2021!
