FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to take this opportunity to dress up and celebrate in style! Semi-formal or cocktail attire is perfect for the evening. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or button-down shirts are perfect for the evening. No need for black tie or ball gowns—just something nice that you feel great in for a fun night of celebrating. Because we’ll be in the mountains in October, evenings in Mammoth can be a bit chilly, so bringing a jacket or wrap is a good idea.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love all of your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only evening. We hope you’ll take this as a chance to enjoy a night out, get dressed up, and celebrate with us!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us, so come ready to celebrate! We’ll have an open bar during the reception—please enjoy and celebrate responsibly. Cars can be left overnight, so please do not drink and drive.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be available at Mammoth Brasserie for our guests. Cars are welcome to be left overnight if needed, so please celebrate responsibly and do not drink and drive

Question

Do I need to worry about elevation?

Answer

Mammoth Lakes sits at over 7,800 feet in elevation. If you're visiting from lower elevations, we recommend drinking plenty of water, taking it easy on your first day, and enjoying the fresh mountain air!

Question

Things to Do in Mammoth

Answer

We hope you’ll take some time to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains while you’re here! October is one of the most beautiful times of year in Mammoth, with crisp mountain air and beautiful fall colors throughout the area. Guests can explore the Lakes Basin, go for a hike, take a scenic drive around the lakes, or simply relax and enjoy the mountain views.
