One day last summer, Dakota was doing some things around the house when he got a call from his best friend, Logan. Before Dakota could say anything, Logan asked, "So hear me out... Do you wanna be a step-dad?" Dakota swore he was being scammed. Turns out, he wasn't. Little did he know, Logan was already talking to Savannah about him, and she was interested. Dakota was trying to work up the courage to send the first message, but Savannah beat him to it. From that point forward the messages, phone calls, and FaceTime calls became more frequent.
