We're getting married!

In 2016, Michael and I were both starting our first year at LSU. For Michael, it was his sophomore year and I was a freshman. Every Thursday night, Olivia Loyde and I would go to All Star Lanes Bowling Alley since it was ladies night there. One night, Liv invited her friend Chad to come with us. I said, "Tell him to bring someone cute." The whole thing about the guy being cute was mostly a joke, but I guess it worked out since he invited Michael. The rest is history!

Michael and I stopped in Shreveport on our way back from the Cobar family vacation in Hot Springs, AR to visit with my parents. While in town, we went on a date to The Norton Art Gallery. After strolling through the gallery, we walked out to the Botanical Garden where my parents were waiting for us. When we came around the curve, Michael stopped me and popped the question. I was speechless! All I could do was nod my head emphatically. I finally found my voice and said the obvious, "YES!"
