Tyler Bivens is the Life Group leader of both Stewart and Serenity. He baptized them both last year, has been able to lead them in life group, and walk with them in their faith alongside his wife Callie. Stewart and Serenity are both so incredibly grateful that Tyler has gotten to guide them in their faith and now guide them in their first steps of marriage.
Emma Green
Matron of Honor
Emma and Serenity met their freshman year of college. They lived on the same hall, used to take turns skipping class and turning in work for each other (early morning classes…), and spent a summer living together on campus. They became close friends. Serenity has been able to witness Emma get married to her husband, Brad, and become a mother, and though distance has created fewer visits, the times together are as if they were never apart. Emma’s friendship has kept Serenity grounded and hopeful
Jocelyn Smith
Maid of Honor
Jocelyn and Serenity met Serenity’s sophomore year of college at Johnson University. After a semester of class together and then a summer on campus, they grew really close. Jocelyn has been Serenity’s voice of reason in some of her hardest seasons, loudest cheerleader for every accomplishment-big and small, and quick to turn the attention to God through prayer or praise. Her friendship has kept Serenity rooted in her faith.
Abby Sowell

Abby and Serenity met through the Bivens’ life group at Northstar Church. Abby and Serenity bonded over their love of kids, nannying experiences, and love of deep conversations. Stewart met Abby about a year after Serenity through Life Group. Abby has been such a sweet friend and a source of validation and understanding.
Naomi Sowell

Naomi and Serenity met through the Bivens’ life group at Northstar Church. Naomi was the first person to engage in conversation with Serenity and the reason Serenity returned to life group. They quickly bonded over their love of writing, reading, and long conversations. Stewart met Naomi about a year after Serenity through Life Group. Naomi has been a voice of wisdom to Serenity and such a sweet friend in the last couple of years.
Amy Estrada
Bridesmaid
Amy and Serenity met through a mutual friend at Northstar Church. Upon meeting, the conversation turned to Disney and the rest is history. Stewart met Amy a couple months after Serenity through Life Group. Amy has been such a sweet friend, encouraging to both Stewart and Serenity, and understands Serenity in ways that some never will. She has been a constant voice of encouragement and truth on hard days.
Cloey Carlton

Cloey is Serenity’s 15-year old cousin. While there is a ten year age gap, they talk and get along as if there’s no gap at all. Cloey brings out the goofiest sides of Serenity leaving her in tears from laughing so hard. She is very honest and upfront, a trait that can be hard to appreciate sometimes, but one that is honorable. Serenity considers Cloey her little sister (and they get along as such—apologies to their mommas!). She thanks God often for the blessing Cloey has been in her life.
Piper Bivens

Piper is the daughter of Tyler and Callie Bivens. She is the sweetest and most hospitable girl. She has the biggest heart, is bold in her faith, and so intentional in making others feel welcome.
Hallie Barton

Hallie is the daughter of Cory and Nicole Barton. She may come across as shy at first, but she is quick to befriend anyone. Her sweet smile and playful spirit make it so easy to spread joy!
Coralee Barton
Train Bearer
Coralee is the daughter of Cory and Nicole Barton. She is a sweet little songbird and will sing praises to the Lord all day if she could. She is very helpful and has the sweetest smile.
Scott Jordan
Best Man
Scott and Stewart met through a mutual acquaintance they both shared, Victoria Jordan. After ditching the third wheel, they’ve managed to build quite a relationship over the years and now it is safe to say that they see one another as a brother-in-law. Strengths - outdoor recreational sports, balancing Jovi on his forearm, comes from an amazing family, is there for you when you need him Weaknesses - leftovers, has yet to train Jovi to repair machines at work, is married to someone who was described as “sassy” by almost every single speaker at their wedding, planning activities more than one week in advance, thinks he doesn't need sunscreen
Kyle Clendenon

Kyle and Stewart met through the Jordan family. Kyle has an awesome and positive personality, and becoming friends was incredibly easy because of this. Strengths - soccer, personality, shares his sunscreen, willing to riff along with any joke being said Weaknesses - has a dog that considers the nearest bathtub to be her safe place, too good at party games
Josh Saggio
Groomsman
Josh and Stewart met through the Bivens’ life group. Having one of the most inviting personalities one could imagine, Saggio was the first person to talk to Stewart when he went to his first group. Among other things, Josh’s willingness to welcome people into his life and share his faith with people he doesn’t know well yet is an inspiration and help to Stewart. Stewart is grateful to have someone like Josh in his life. Strengths - good at sports with paddles/rackets, quick to share his faith, his brain, useful in escape rooms Weaknesses - volleyball when on the same team as Jennifer, Italian stereotypes, will find unique ways to destroy props in escape rooms
Bryson Adams
Groomsman
Bryson is Serenity's youngest brother. While he received the short end of the stick in many cases (pranks, jokes, chores, the blame, etc...), he has grown up to be so caring and has such a kind heart. Bryson is Serenity's go-to, late-night baking buddy. He is always up for cookies and a Disney or Hallmark movie at 2am. He has always been one phone call away. Serenity considers growing up with Bryson to have been such a sweet gift from God.
Tyler Adams

Tyler is Serenity's younger brother. He was her best friend growing up and reasons for late-night laughter when they shared a room as kids. Tyler is adventurous, courageous, and bold-all things Serenity truly and deeply admires about him. Serenity considers growing up with Tyler to have been a gift from God.
Henry Bivens

Henry is the son of Tyler and Callie Bivens. Henry has such a silly side that not many get to see. He is so sweet, has an infectious laugh, and is quick to share any animal fact with you. Henry loves so big and loves to make others laugh, bringing so much joy to those around him.
Kenny Thoss
Usher
Kenny is Serenity’s younger cousin. Though he lives in Florida, the distance didn’t have much of an effect on their close relationship. They grew up together bonding over being the “odd sibling out” (Kenny having two sisters and Serenity having two brothers). They often tossed the football together during the summers and enjoyed discussing pranks to pull on their siblings. As they’ve gotten older, they don’t see each other quite as much, but long phone calls happen often. Serenity has found such a sweet friendship and is grateful to have grown up with Kenny.
Jacob Taylor

Jacob is Serenity’s younger cousin. He loves and cares for others so big and genuinely wants to see others thrive in life. In recent years, Jacob and Serenity have gotten to share a lot of time together talking about Jesus and how amazing God is. Jacob’s life is nothing short of the healing and miraculous hand of God, and Serenity has watched him grow and witnessed his faith grow, which has been a true blessing.
