Natalie and Stewart crossed paths while she was visiting her sister Angelique in DC in August 2019. They had an instant connection and soon the Atlanta - DC long distance relationship was born. Natalie was off to Croatia for a trip to sail the Adriatic Sea with friends. However, they found a way to FaceTime each day (despite international fees and poor wifi). Stewart quickly booked a flight to Atlanta just one month later in September 2019. They explored Atlanta and attended a friend's wedding. They began visiting each other often, as Natalie worked remotely. Natalie officially moved to DC in Feb 2020, unbeknownst them, right before a global pandemic. Stewart and Natalie made the most of their time together during Quarantine by having plenty of game nights, 80s & fancy dinner themed dates, and lots of pizza. Quarantine allowed for their love to grow and their faith became a huge pillar for them. Stewart was ready to pop the question, and planned an elaborate trip to Napa. Despite wineries being re-opened, CA wildfires forced Stewart to come up with a plan B days before their trip. Stewart booked a waterfront resort along the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, where he proposed to Natalie on her 30th birthday. It was a magical day and one to remember! They are so thrilled to start their lives together with the sacrament of marriage and under the presence of God.
