The resort is huge? How do I get around!
Answer
While the resort is quite large it is quite walkable. When you arrive, we suggest signing a waiver for the drop and go bikes. We found biking around the resort was not only the easiest and fastest way but also the most fun. If you are staying in the villa you will have two (2) golf carts assigned to your house. For anyone looking for a speedy way to get around, and/or if you have any mobility challenges or concerns, the concierge can send a member of the staff to pick you up in a golf course 24/7.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

UPDATE: There will be shuttles on resort for all guests to all events. Check for updates on 12/14 and morning of 12/15. Hotel staff will have as well. All events will be taking place on resort. You can either get around by foot, golf cart or resort shuttle. If you have mobility concerns the resort has dedicated staff that can help with transport at the resort. We will have more information as we get closer to the big day! Please note we will not have transportation options for those staying off resort.

Do I tip at the resort?
Answer
a 16.5% resort service charge is included throughout the resort. Tips, while included are pooled for all workers. You do not have to tip but you should if people go above and beyond. Good to have cash on hand for the porters and people who help bring you around the resort. Helpful to have small bills.

When should I arrive?
Answer
Thursday, 12/15/2022. There will be a welcome event Thursday afternoon and the wedding takes place on Friday, 12/16/2022. If staying at the resort they require a three (3) day minimum stay. Alyssa and Stew will arrive on either Monday, 12/10 so feel free to come early to relax, play golf and sip some cocktails. Stay tuned to schedule as we will also have some other optional events popping up for those who arrive early :)

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your kids! Half Moon is kid-friendly with a lot of built-in activities (including camp) to keep them busy and entertained. While you are more than welcome to bring your kids along for the weekend, we are not inviting children to the wedding or theme party. The resort can assist with babysitting options when you make your reservation.
