Arrival in Redmond/Bend Oregon The Ranch is located 40 minutes from the Redmond Airport. You can travel by car, pre-reserved taxis, private cars, or shuttles, but please note there are typically very few Ubers or Lyft's in the area and we recommend you do not rely on that as your primary option. The rental car facilities are in the baggage area and the rental cars are a very short walking distance just outside the building near the baggage area. If you book a private shuttle, then the driver will likely meet you in the baggage area and their cars and vans are very close. Fly into Portland International Airport (PDX), the closest major airport to Black Butte Ranch. Once you land, you’ll find all major car rental companies located right at the airport. About a 8-10 minute (8 mile) drive from the Black Butte Ranch Lodge Venue. Pretty direct route and easy to get to from the hotel. They have local alpacas right as you drive up and on the property. Ponderosa is the largest hotel in sisters and provide a good atmosphere to stay in.
