We invite you to wear Formal Attire to our wedding! Ladies, we encourage you to wear a floor-length / tea-length gown, or a sophisticated cocktail dress. Men, please wear a tailored suit and tie. Thank you!
The Bridal Dance (or Money Dance) is a tradition in the Bride's family. When announced, wedding guests will line up by the dance floor. Guests will tie cash (singles, $5s, $10s, $20s) in a knot and give it to a bridesmaid. Guests will take a shot (optional of course) and then dance with the Bride! After dancing with the Bride, guests will form a circle around the Bride and will stay there until all the guests who want to participate have gone through. Finally, guests will protect Marissa as her new husband tries to break through to whisk her away!
Yes! The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Yes! The venue is completely handicap accessible. If you need a handicap accessible hotel room, please contact Renee Myers at (814) 931-8260.
Another VERY important tradition in the Bride's family! The cookie table is a large table with tiers of various kinds of cookies presented to guests at the wedding reception alongside the cake. Because of the Bride's allergies, all cookies will be tree-nut free and will be labeled on separate plates.
