Travel Note
For our out-of-town guests flying into Houston, there are two primary airports you can consider. Both airports provide various ground transportation options, including rental cars, ride-sharing services, and shuttles, making it easy to reach your destination in Houston.
Flight
IAH is Houston's largest airport, offering a wide range of domestic and international flights. It is located approximately 23 miles north of Downtown Houston.
Flight
HOU primarily serves domestic flights and is a hub for Southwest Airlines. It's closer to the city center (approximately 7 miles southeast of Downtown Houston) and may be more convenient depending on your accommodations.
Travel Note
In case you've never visited Houston before, please note that traffic (especially on the weekends) is very heavy downtown. We advise you to add an additional 15 minutes to your ETA to account for road closures, accidents, or the occasional deranged homeless person.
