Hike: Ranger Hole Trailhead

This is great 1.6 mi hike for anyone looking for a quick, kid friendly, nature stroll in the area.

Hike: Lower Big Quilcene to Notch Pass Trail Junction

If you're looking for a bigger hike, this is a great 12.5 mi trek.

For the folks that are looking for a little more of a challenge, here's an 11.3 mi route.

Kayaking: Hood Canal Adventures

This place offers kayak and paddle boards for rent, as well as tours around the Brinnon area. Only 20 mins south of Quilcene.

Swimming: Quilcene Bay's Linger Longer Beach

Go for a dunk in the sound! The beach is rocky with lots of oysters so be sure to bring some shoes you can swim in. This is also a great place to take kayaks out on the water! You can even ask the rental place to deliver them to the beach here. Paddle across the bay to Pen Cove shell fish farm to see the seals for extra fun.

Lake Leland is very close to the venue and a great spot to kayak/paddle around and cast a pole. There's a public dock as well.
