Go for a dunk in the sound! The beach is rocky with lots of oysters so be sure to bring some shoes you can swim in. This is also a great place to take kayaks out on the water! You can even ask the rental place to deliver them to the beach here. Paddle across the bay to Pen Cove shell fish farm to see the seals for extra fun.
