After riding the same bus to campus, living in neighboring apartment complexes, and taking several classes together, Justin just so happened to sit a few seats away from Chloe at graduation. Chloe saw this as a sign and sent Justin a message on a dating app they had previous matched on. After some back and forth setting up a time, Chloe and Justin had their first date at Cafe Medici on Guad. Chloe, of course, was late but luckily Justin was patient. They enjoyed each others company so much they extended the date, getting snacks at Whole Foods on Lamar and seeing a movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Shamefully, they were almost kicked out due to whispering and giggling. About a year later, Justin & Chloe moved into their first apartment together in NW Austin. They would share many memories in this apartment, including baking and cooking tons of delicious dishes, hosting Thanksgiving, and enduring a crazy winter storm that left them without power for 3 days and without water for two weeks. Besides cooking and baking, Chloe and Justin enjoyed camping, hiking, and traveling together. Enchanted Rock, Pedernales Falls, Ink's Lake, and Colorado Bend were popular spots for them in the first few years of their relationship. They made countless trips to Houston and Edinburg to visit family, went on family trips to Chicago, Minneapolis, Fredericksburg, and South Padre, and visited New Orleans, Seattle, and Yakima Valley in Washington State among other fun trips. Almost 7 years to the day from their first date, Justin proposed on North Avenue Beach in Chicago on June 11, 2024. A few days later, they decided to add a puppy (Alfie) to their family. They drove cross country, Chloe from Chicago and Justin from Texas, meeting in Missouri to bring Alfie home! Finally, Chloe and Justin began wedding planning in summer 2025 and can't wait to celebrate with their friends and family in November 2026.
