What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Please arrive by 4:30 pm at the latest.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is formal, with a coastal garden party vibe. Polished and elegant, but with a breezy, seaside touch. Elegant mid to full-length dresses for women, suits and ties for men. Please note our ceremony will take place on grass.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults‑only celebration. We want all of our guests to be able to relax, enjoy the party, and dance the night away without worry. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Each room is given 1 (one) parking permit, additional vehicles may be parked on-site with the purchase of parking pass for $30.00. Guests not staying at the hotel will have valet service available to them for the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are keeping our celebration limited to those closest to us and are unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at the Union Bluff Hotel, where both our ceremony and reception will take place. There’s a two-night minimum, and you can book online with code 09132026 or call the front desk and mention the Stevens–Jacques wedding.

Sadly, the Union Bluff does have a limited number of rooms. If you were not able to book in our block, don't worry - there are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs in the York area! For easy access, we recommend booking near Short Sands Beach or downtown York—both are walkable to the venue and perfect for enjoying the weekend. Please see the 'Travel' section of the website for recommendations.
