When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Friday, May 1st so we can finalize everything with our vendors.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is formal or cocktail attire. We kindly ask that guests wear a suit and tie or a cocktail dress, midi dress, or evening gown.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so plan to arrive around 3:40-3:45 PM to grab a seat and get settled.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you’re able to join us for a fun and relaxing evening!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our afternoon ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the terrace of our venue, while the reception will take place indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
We have reserved room blocks at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center Hotel, The DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown, and The Plaza Hotel Milwaukee. If staying at the Hilton Milwaukee, please book your stay by Thursday, April 30th, 2026. If staying at the DoubleTree, please book your stay by Friday, May 22nd, 2026. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our venue is just a short walk from the hotels where we’ve reserved our room blocks and where most guests will be staying. If you're staying a bit farther out, rideshare services are easy to find and a convenient option.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Adjacent to St James 1868 are two paid public surface lots - the Library Lot and the Wells Fargo Lot, where pay to park is available using a QR code.

Can I bring a date?

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Thanks for your understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
