Welcome to our grand debut as husband and wife!

Katie and Shaun first crossed paths in October 2022 when Victoria Guererra and David DeNuzzio hosted a Friendsgiving at Dave's apartment. Katie's first impression of Shaun was "wow, that is a purple shirt" when the bright hue of his shirt preceded his presence. Shaun's first impression of Katie was "cute girl, cute dog" with Winnie in a puppy pouch. During this party, Katie had to use the restroom, so she asked Shaun to watch Winnie, who was still a small puppy. They crossed paths again in November 2023 at Victoria and Dave's engagement party as Dave and Victoria's Maid of Honor and Best Man. Finally, Victoria and Dave set up Katie and Shaun on a double date with them, per Katie's request, on St. Patrick's Day of 2024 at Sicily Coal Fired Pizza in Middletown, CT. Shaun and Katie knew they would be inseparable on their second date of eating brunch at the Shoreline Diner in Guilford, CT, going to an gallery opening where Katie talked Shaun's ear off about the elements of art at the Guilford Arts Center, and sitting on a bench overlooking the beach at Hammonassett State Park and talking for three hours. Shaun recreated this date when he proposed on the beach at Hammonassett in October of 2024. Katie and Shaun share the same love of food, Star Wars and Marvel Superhero movies, video games, and board games. Together, they enjoy going to the beach, trying new foods at the same dozen restaurants they always go to, taking trips to the casino, perusing through the Lego aisles at Walmart and Target, spending too much money on Disney vacations, and spending time together laughing, talking, and just being present with each other. They welcome you to celebrate their love and the premiere of their marriage and beautiful life together.
