It started with Ariana losing her Calculus textbook. This led to her walking into Stevens economics class to retrieve it. She didn't know it, but at that moment she caught Stevens attention. He hoped to run into her again one day, there was something about Ari that he couldn't get out of his head. He found her on Facebook , and became her friend. She was going through a rough time in her life and they bonded over shared stories, humor , and formed a genuine friendship. Before long they started looking forward to eachothers snapchat stories, and daily interactions. Ariana found Steven extremely funny & positive about life . He always seemed to have the right thing to say. Before long they began a romantic relationship in 2016 at the age of 19 . In 2020 Steven promised to make Ari his wife and never leave her side, and has done exactly so . They enjoy traveling together, cooking new recipes, going to Church & spending time with their families. One day they hope to have their own family.

Steven proposed to Ariana after a lovely dinner in Bellevue. He blind folded her and took her to a beautifully decorated dock covered in rose petals. In the background, was a song by the name of Sleepless. Her grandparents used to dance in the living room to that song. Steven's brother (along with two close friends) helped set up the proposal and were there to witness. It was a special moment and everyone cried.
