Things To Do

There are definitely a lot of things you can do in Nashville, so here are some of our favorite things to recommend to first-time visitors.

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211

(Tanner's favorite!) The Nashville zoo is always a fun experience, and it's not too big so you can see everything in a couple of hours.

12th Avenue South

12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN

This street has a lot of shopping and fun murals on the sides of buildings (great photo opportunities!).

The Parthenon

2500 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203

For those who like Greek mythology, the Parthenon is a good place. It's also a great place for a relaxing stroll around Centennial Park.

Opry Mills

433 Opry Mills Drive, Nashville, TN 37214

The backstage tour here is really good, even if you aren't the biggest fan of country music (like Steven). The Opry Mills mall nearby is also a fun place to stroll/shop in

Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214

This hotel feels like a bit of Las Vegas in Nashville! There is a gondola you can ride and some food options inside as well.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

222 Rep. John Lewis Way South, Nashville, TN 37203

We still haven't been, but if you're a fan of country music I'm sure it's worthwhile.

National Museum of African American Music

510 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203

We also haven't been here, but we've always heard great things about it.

Frist Art Museum

919 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203

The Frist usually has a rotating art exhibit, so feel free to check it out closer to the date to see what they'll have.

Costco Wholesale

1101 Forest Retreat Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075

(Another Tanner's favorite!) This is his current warehouse
