Silvana's high school best friend. Silvana was lucky to be a part of Michelle and Peter's love story and is so grateful to have them be a part of hers. Michelle has been an amazing support system and true spiritual guide throughout the years. Grateful for her is an understatement. Story: I (Silvana) have no clue how I came across this new craze, sugar wax, somehow I always managed to get Michelle involved. One day we attempted to make it and pretty much destroyed her kitchen counter, and got a spoon stuck on my teeth.

Joseph Osle

Steven's cousin and honorary younger brother, Joseph has been a part of Steven's life since birth. He was his right hand man throughout their childhood and would literally run through a wall for you if he had to. No matter how much time passes or physical distance separates them, Joseph is someone Steven always knew he'd want by his side for this big day. Story: Always passionate about food (the only TV channel they agreed on was Food Network), Joseph and Steven displayed that passion proudly in Chicago. For their last meal there, they feasted on an entire deep dish pizza, garlic bread, and a large deep dish chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. With all the walking they did that weekend, they would tell you that they definitely earned it.

Peter Otto Gonzalez

Man of Honor

The man with the wise words. One of Silvana's right-hand men, and best friends since high school. Peter is always a text, or phone call away whenever you might need it. Story: While in high school he was part of a band with his brothers and cousin Reyna, Silvana was surely one of their 3 number 1 fans. (Along with Michelle and Angie) Especially of 3in1's cover of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. Till this day Silvana wishes she had enough musical talent to just be the tambourine girl.

Andre Cortes

South Florida's resident patent lawyer, Harry Potter expert, and one of Steven's many "cousins." Over the years, Andre could always be counted on to stand by you and oversee a fair and just fantasy football league (which Steven usually wins). Through gifted class, school carpools, and lacrosse practice, he's someone who Steven's lucky to have known his entire life. Story: While on a joint family vacation, Andre and Steven were paired together to go on what was supposed to be a laid back parasailing ride on the ocean. The operators, however, had different ideas. After almost being dropping onto palm trees and nearly crashing into another parasailing duo, they both figured it would probably be best to retire this hobby for good.

Jenny Lise Pirot

Jenny was Silvana's boss when they worked for Einstein Bro. Bagels back in undergrad at UCF. Many house parties, game nights, bagels, cooking lessons, road trips, and nights out together they became true partners in crime. Story: College was a great time, and also a poor time, Jenny never got too angry when she showed up at Silvana's house parties and found Einstein Bagels drink cups being used for beer pong games.

Jesse Cortes

Jesse is Steven's childhood video game partner, , and another one of his "cousins." They grew up together playing backyard football and trying to reenact the break-dance scene from White Chicks. Even though some of the neighborhood games got a little intense, he could always be counted on as a great teammate and an even better friend. Story: In college, Jesse and Steven took a road trip to New Orleans. The weekend included dancing with street bands, downing Hand Grenades and whiskey shots, and the amazing discovery of Raising Cane's chicken tenders. Always ready for anything (even a 12 hour car ride), Jesse is a great co-pilot both on and off the road.

Ivan Marcelo Jurado

A man Silvana considers her brother & best friend. Ivan and Silvana have been friends since they were 15, & have gone through thick and thin together. Ivan has never really agreed to anyone Silvana has dated, the words were always "not the one" but once Steven asked for my hand in marriage, Ivan called him "a class act". Although far from each other now, back in high school Ivan was just a bike ride away, you could always count on him to show up at your doorstep at 2:00 AM if you needed something. Story: One day after school Silvana and Ivan walked to taco bell, there was a large area of construction and it had recently rained. Somehow Ivan ended up on top of a dirt pile and started sinking in it like it was quicksand, instead of helping Silvana could only laugh and pee her pants

Austin Donestevez

Austin was Steven's neighbor growing up. Their friendship started by pure chance, as a Mendoza pool float drifted across the lake into the Donestevez yard, and it's been going strong ever since. Even as life gets busy, Austin never lets it stop him from reaching out and checking in. Always reliable and willing to help, he's as good a friend as there is. Story: On an normal Friday night in high school, Austin and Steven were hanging out at the Mendoza house. The doorbell rang but no one was on the other side of the door. Shortly after, a car pulled up and someone sprinted at the house, shook the locked door handles, then took off. On the other side, Steven (with a kitchen knife) and Austin (with a bat) were startled but ready to rumble. They have each other's backs to this day.

Melissa Fava

Silvana's soon to be sister-in-law. The past two years Silvana has admired and looked up to Melissa, whether it be how beautiful she looked on her wedding day, or what a great job she has done at raising such a smart little girl like Ali. Silvana is so excited to finally have a sister who can advise her through life. Story: Silvana first met Steven's family when Ali was born, even though she was just dropping off Steven at the hospital she also brought a gift for the baby. When Steven said a "friend" dropped him off, Melissa cracked that code word once she saw the gift.

Mike Fava

Mike is Steven's brother-in-law in title, but his actions have been those of an actual brother. A fellow UCF alum, they have bonded over a love for family, food, and all things football. Mike has been a positive influence on Steven's life and a great example of what a husband should be. Story: As UCF scored the game-winning touchdown of the 2017 War on I-4, Mike lifted Steven up in celebration like a much less precise, football version of Dirty Dancing. A few weeks later, they would reunite in Atlanta with 50,000 of their closest friends as the Knights capped off their perfect season and were crowned National Champions.

Stephany Annet Bustamante

Stephany and Silvana met in their Medical Laboratory Science Program. Many days spent not going out, staying late in the library, quizzing each other, and even occasionally committing to going to work out led to a beautiful friendship. Going through strenuous situations truly has the ability to bring the best of people together. Stephany has somehow convinced Silvana (along with Ethan) that The Bachelor is good enough to watch, so Steven suffers most Monday nights. Story: Stephany's sweetheart and innocent spirit truly shows more than she realizes it. One night during a game night she was partnered up with Silvana in Taboo. The word was "Cash" not being able to say checks, money, or bank. When Silvana asked what is a different form of payment other than a money order, Steph said "hugs".

Christian Martinez

Christian was Steven's best friend in high school. What began as alphabetic assigned seats in 10th grade Spanish class, grew into a brotherhood and now being groomsmen at each other's weddings. A decade filled with concerts, sporting events, and meals at Flanigan's has only strengthened their one of a kind friendship. Story: During Winter Break of their Freshman year in college, they celebrated the end of a successful first semester (and who knows what else) with a little too much tequila. After a really fun night, but a (very much) not fun next morning, they both decided it was a perfect time to give up tequila forever.

Ethan Beauregard

Friendship at first "yes, and". Silvana met Ethan at improv just a few weeks before meeting Steven, and being the outgoing person she is, she invited him over to game nights with the gang. The three quickly formed a strong friendship built on Tuesday night Bachelor watch parties, roasting each other, and their love of Friendly's ice cream. Silvana and Steven feel so lucky to have him in their lives. P.S. He's single ladies!!!

A true family friend and spiritual guide. Pastor Hilda has known Silvana for many years. A wonderful person who has prayed with and invited Silvana into her home, church, and family. Steven and Silvana are very lucky to have her as an officiant on the big day and as a calming, trusting person they can always turn to.

Let's face it, the life of the party is a quality Silvana inherited from her mom, Patty. With a large and kind heart, she has welcomed Steven to be a part of her family as her new son. She is excited to see her only daughter walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams.

A sweet, caring soul and a lover of wine, Maritza has an incredible talent of becoming best friends with someone 10 minutes after meeting them. Her smile and joy is always a welcome sight, and she could not be happier that her son and new daughter have found their perfect match.

Silvana's dad always wanted the best for his daughter, when he heard about Steven and then met him, he knew he was the one. Diego is so excited to have the son he always wanted and is happy to finally see his baby with someone she deserves.

If anyone knows Javi, they can understand where Steven gets much of his personality. He has coached, consulted, consoled, and cared for family, friends, and strangers all the same; now he's excited to welcome a new daughter to that family. As Steven's ultimate role model and the man he looks up to most, there is no one better suited to be his Best Man.
