Mount Monadnock
Hiking! There are a lot of amazing trails to get to the top of the mountain. On a really clear day, you can see all the way to Boston. If not as clear, you still get amazing views of New England in the fall.
Pulpit Rock and Joppa Hill Trail
Small hike! Pulpit Rock is a really cool rock formation in the middle of the woods. Jobba Hill is on the other side that brings you through/around a small farm, letting you get real close to the adorable cows, alpacas, and other livestock. You can do one or the other, or both!
Goffstown Rail Trail
If you want to go for a walk amongst the fall leaves that's nice and flat, this is the best! 10 miles one way. You can go all the way or just part.
Goffstown Pumpkin Regatta
Festival! Want to see giant pumpkins be carved out, decorated, and used as boats down the creek in the center of a New England town while eating apple cider donuts? Goffstown has the festival for you! It's both the 18th (for decorating the pumpkins) and the 19th (for the pumpkin boat race). Times are currently unknown, but the website will be updated the closer it comes to the festival.
Purple Finch Cafe
Delicious local breakfast/lunch cafe. They have wonderful eggs Benedict, waffles, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, sandwiches; there's nothing bad at the Purple Finch! They are on the small side, so we recommend calling ahead!
Tucker's
Delicious breakfast/lunch place. They don't take reservations, but they do have call-ahead that is usually 30-50 minutes. There's a restaurant in Bedford, Merrimack, Concord, Dover, and a few others. Amazing Thanksgiving sandwich!
