On May 17, 2018, Steven & Samantha happened to be at the perfect place, at the perfect time; in Paris, France. With having their first date in the Eiffel Tower then finding out that they grew up 4 minutes from each other, it goes to show the funny sense of humor God really has. Throughout all of their adventurous trips (Hawaii, Mexico, Ireland, and counting), concerts, family/friends gatherings, and truly growing with each other the past few years (especially during the Pandemic), they are about to embark on the BEST adventure of their lives, marriage! Getting married during a pandemic has been challenging. To ensure the wedding happens, Steven & Samantha have decided to get married in Samantha's home church, Trinity Lutheran in Monroe MI, and have the reception in Steven's parents backyard to have an intimate yet memorable wedding day! Understanding the severity of COVID-19, observing the vaccine role-out and seeing the warmer temperatures in the future forecast, they hope to have as close to a "normal" wedding as there has been in recent memory. Of course, they respect anyone's decision to stay safe, as September is still months away. Nonetheless, as the days get closer to September 4, Samantha and Steven hope you are just as excited as they are and will pray and encourage them as they know the true meaning of what September 4 represents! The countdown begins and they will see you soon!
