Brother of the Groom and Officiant
He's Steve 2.0, complete with all of the upgrades you'd expect from the younger, better looking model. On paper, Scott followed in the groom's footsteps from West Point to the Engineer Regiment to the 173rd - where he even led the same platoon. Only Scott did it much better, and the groom could not be more proud. Parker & Steven are honored to have this kind and gentle warrior officiate their wedding.
Sister of the Groom and Bridesmaid
Separated by only 17 months, Krista has the distinct misfortune of being Steve's first sister... as well as the distinct pleasure of being Parker's first sister! Krista's adventurous spirit and "Let's go!" attitude are contagious, often inspiring Parker to step outside her comfort zone and jump in. We're thrilled that Krista and her entire crew are joining us from Alaska for the party!
Brother of the Bride and Groomsman
As Parker's younger brother, Colin has proven to be the perfect buddy for the groom's visits to Maine by ensuring there's always someone to watch a ballgame or grab a beer with. Though Colin has moved west and won't be as readily available, Steve is thrilled to have a new brother for the decades to come.
Sister of the Groom and Bridesmaid
The younger of Steve's two sisters, Lisa has played an instrumental part in this wedding - just take a look at all of the artwork! When she's not busy painting, parenting, gardening, beekeeping, and army-wifing, Lisa finds time to make sure Parker feels at home with the Warner family. It's no easy task - but is there anything she can't do??
Best Man
It was only natural that the boys from Arkansas and West Virginia would form an everlasting bond while attending an academy so far north of the Mason-Dixon Line. These two BCG-spectacled new cadet country boys went from the heavy tables at Beast to Circus party planners to traveling the world together over the last 18 years. (If you want to learn about his nickname, ask the Hebrew Hammer.)
Groomsman
A wannabe coastal elite turned wannabe rugged mountain man, Mike is a handsome jack of all trades. Mike and Steve have shared adventures from Germany to Philly to Colorado, each time learning a little bit about life from each other. For instance, Mike introduced Steve to electric green pants. Steve later learned that Mike is colorblind. Mike is currently training for the Leadville 100. You'll be shocked to learn that Steve no longer follows Mike's lead.
Groomsman
The mantle bearer of all things Champions, Big E has inspired the groom to truly LIVE through all the peaks and valleys of the last decade. A mountain of a man in both stature and character, you won't be able to escape his unmatched energy on the dance floor!
Groomsman
Beginning as Beast squad mates, The Condor has flown with the groom for the better part of 18 years. Legend has it that a clean left hook received in Jamaica was re-gifted to the groom as a straight right in Brad Long, forever linking these two pals.
Groomsman
The Officiant Scott aside, this Scott has the dubious distinction of knowing our groom the longest. Scott is perhaps the only reason Steve ever had friends in high school, and the two remain close pals to this day. Scott is also Mac & Deb’s adopted third son, with only a Mountainview Golf Course fairway separating his backyard and the Warner's beer fridge... where you can often find him hanging out on summer evenings! (Scott also owns Cornbowl hardware, an honor he shares with both the bride and groom!)
Bridesmaid
From Kappa sisters to NYC roommates, Maddy and Parker have been attached at the hip for more than a decade. They have also played key roles leading up to each other's marriages, ensuring neither scared away their future husbands. Here's to many more memories and ice-cold longnecks for the boys!
Bridesmaid
It wasn't until senior year at Colgate that Parker and Sammie really got close... but man have they made up for lost time. (Steve, for one, is thankful - Sammie was perhaps the first to fill Parker in on his crush.) From ordering nachos at Taqueria Diana to Steve to Parker's wedding-weekend outfits, Sammie has always helped Parker make the right choices, and we don't expect that to stop any time soon.
Bridesmaid
Parker's twin, one-time frat-party date (ask her the story), and junior year roommate, Amanda's ties to Parker run deep. She also happens to hail from Morristown, NJ, the same town that Parker's grandmother, Lila, calls home. We're honored that this badass lawyer is taking time away from fighting for human rights in Greece to help us celebrate.
Bridesmaid
A little crazy and a whole lot of caring, Molly - and her entire family - have been central to Parker and the Colgate girls' tight-knit friendship since 2011. She may forget a dinner invite from time to time, but there isn't a thing she'll drop to be there for a friend - or stranger - in need. (Just ask any of the thousands of COVID patients she treated throughout the pandemic.) Molly's heart is as big as they come, and we're thankful she's sharing it with us on wedding weekend!
Bridesmaid
These two "math nerds" - as Parker calls them - go back to their earliest Colgate days. Before they shared late nights in New York as recent Colgate grads, these two shared late nights in the Colgate library that would ensure their success. Laura continues to inspire all she meets as she charts a path as a talented big-city architect.
Bridesmaid
That's DOCTOR Alex Shapiro these days! A true grinder with a permanent smile and positive attitude, Alex has been an inspiration to Parker and her Colgate crew since 2011 Parker is thrilled to have Alex back stateside (and only a state away!) for her residency, and even more grateful that Alex will be standing by her side come wedding day.
