Do I need to book a room at the Mimslyn Inn?

Answer

We booked the entire hotel for the weekend to create what we feel is the best experience for our loved ones to enjoy themselves for the wedding. This location was selected because we have a personal connection with the Shenandoah Valley and it is a perfect middle ground between our families in the north and south. If you are unable to stay at the Inn, please let us know in advance so we can ensure full capacity.

Why do I need to stay Friday and Saturday night?

Answer

Check-in at the Inn is at 4pm, which is the same time that the ceremony begins. Since everyone is traveling, we wanted people to have a chance to get settled in and enjoy the weekend. Check out the things to do section for plenty of fun stuff to keep you busy. And enjoy the experience of our entire family being in one place! There are plenty of places to gather at the Inn including two pools, hot tubs, and lawns with outdoor games

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 6 at the latest! We need to have your dinner choices with your RSVP, so the Chef can prepare for the big day.

Will there be kids meals provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be kids chicken tender meals. Please let us know if your kids have any dietary restrictions in the RSVP.

We've noted the dress code for the different events, which can be found on the schedule page. Ultimately we want you all to feel your best!
