We became instant friends the day we met, although Jess has no recollection of this, of course. We were pioneer partners for a bit until I lost her to Danny. As a consolation prize, I was the maid of honor in her wedding. This girl was literally sitting next to me when I met Steve and she has been a fan since then.
Maria

We met at an ice skating rink which led to a best friendship of over 20 years. This friendship proves that distance means nothing, because we always pick up where we left off. When we were younger we imagined our weddings during many sleepovers. Many things changed in those wedding plans, but one thing hasn't: we have been a big part of each other's special day.
Josue
Best Man
I have known Josue for over 10 years now. While serving together in the Fairburn Spanish congregation, there were many sleepovers, service days, crazy adventures and good memories that were forged over 10 years. The same weekend Josue was baptized, I was invited to attend the Ministerial Training School. I had just left Bethel when I met Josue in GA, and now Josue is in Bethel while I am in GA.

Although we met when Desiree was serving in Spanish, our friendship blossomed afterwards. This has been a friendship full of trips, girl talk, service adventures, weddings, harmless arguments, etc. The real miracle is that we survived Desiree going to nursing school. After that, you know that it's a friendship that is going to last forever.

Joey has known both Naysha and I for many years. In fact, he and I moved to the Atlanta area around the same time and quickly became friends. Since day 1 when he first found out that had my eyes on Naysha, Joey has been 100% Team Steve. One thing that Naysha and I have always appreciated about Joey was the way he and Diana kept their single friends involved in their lives even after marriage. It speaks volumes to the type of persons they have always been.

I want to say that we met at an assembly through Karla, but I might be wrong. You know you have found a good friend when you have found someone that supports the Star Wars addiction and the baking addiction. Hold on to them! When Joey and Diana asked me to be a bridesmaid I was so giddy, little did I know that Diana was going to top that we when asked her to be our bridesmaid.
Mario

The man who made it all happen. Mario is the reason we first met. He was one of the first friends I made when moving to the Atlanta area. In March of 2012 he put together a group of friends to go eat at a restaurant called Tuk Tuk Thai Loft. The bride and groom just so happened to be in that group. The rest, as they say, is history!

I've known Tati all her life, that's kinda what happens when you're cousins. When we were younger we'd entertain ourselves with "rock climbing" in a hallway and playing "school", as we got older we swapped those pastimes for a better one: traveling. If Tati still loved me even when I bugged her because she was the little cousin, then it looks like she'll stick around.

Rogelio and I met in 2013. Over the years spiritual things, spicy food, Star Wars, music and all things Nerdy have bonded us together. He also shares a special part in the start of Naysha and Steve. Had he not gone for some popcorn at that Braves game, I may not have had the chance to tell Naysha how I felt. I'd probably be in Paraguay right now if not for that Popcorn!

We met in 2014 as tour guides, we trained every Saturday for months and yet we completely forgot each other. Two years later, it took us an international trip and becoming congregation buddies to remember that. Yvonne had a front row seat to Steve asking me out, she also calmed me down when I started to freak out a little because I said yes to a date with Steve, someone I had only viewed as a friend. That woman did well because it was the best decision ever.
Tommy

While others may have played more of a role in the forming of this relationship, I believe Tommy was the example I needed to mold my character to make this relationship successful. We've known each other for over 6 years. In the past 5 years we've worked closely together. During this time I was able to observe how calmly Tommy handled emotionally explosive situations and I learned from his example of patience and mildness. I credit his example to being a big help to prepare my own personality for the challenges of being in a relationship.
Karla

Karla is 50% of el Duo Dinamico ( the better half, if you ask me). Our days were filled with singing Hakuna Matata, sleepovers, and starring in the infamous web serious: Cooking with Juice. We have been there for each other in the highs and lows so I'd say that having KPink walk down the aisle is a must.
