Question
Why are you guys having a reception BEFORE your wedding?
Answer
We're aware some people will be traveling significant distances to join us. Given our ceremony will only be a couple hours long and we will be departing for our honeymoon very literally as soon as our wedding ceremony concludes, we wanted to be able to celebrate and relax with our friends and extended family for a whole weekend before our actual wedding.

Why didn't I get an invitation to your Wedding Ceremony?
Answer
We would have loved to invite more people to directly attend our nuptials, but as mentioned above, we will be leaving for our honeymoon in Maine literally as soon as the ceremony concludes. Additionally, the venue is very tiny, so only our immediate family members will be in attendance. It is for these reasons we are hosting a pre-wedding shindig so we can celebrate proper with EVERYONE!

When's the RSVP Deadline for the Party?

We ask that you RSVP no later than August 1st, 2026 to allow for preparations.

Are kids allowed at the party?
Answer
Yes! The pavilion is located within our local park and there are plenty of amenities to keep kids busy. Please note that if you intend to bring children too young (or picky) to eat from the established menu, you must text either Tash or Steve to let us know what food they want - or bring your own.

What kind of food is being served?
Answer
We're catering the event with Mission BBQ, so get ready for some smoky, meaty goodness! We will also be providing cake and other snacks. Please reach out to us if you have any food allergies!

Can I bring additional food to share at the party?
Answer
Absolutely! Our party is equal parts marriage celebration and picnic potluck.

What should I wear to the party?
Answer
Whatever you're most comfortable wearing - this is a casual event, so the choice is yours! Just don't show up in your PJ's or stanky work clothes, please.

How do I get to Weona Park?
Answer
The address is 1026 Blue Valley Drive, Pen Argyl, PA, 18072. There are various parking options around the park, and the party proper will be hosted at the Large Pavilion (building with the green tin roof, see photo at the top of this page).

Is the party venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The pavilion is outdoors, but there is plenty of cover from the elements. Please be aware of the weather on September 19th and dress appropriately!
