Steven and I had been chatting just shy of a week before he asked me out on a date. We met at a local burger joint the day after Valentine's Day. I thought this would be a great place to introduce him to since he was new to the area, and he orders a chicken wrap...made of wilted lettuce (trying to eat healthly). I desperately tried to convince him to order something else, it was pretty obvious he hated it, yet he kept on picking at it. I couldn't understand why he wouldn't just order something better. Wouldn't you know it six hours later dinner is done, we've gotten ice cream, driven around the city, only to make our way to Perkins for a very early morning breakfast. We spent the whole night talking and learning about each other before finally deciding it was too late to continue our date and went our separate ways. We went out a week later to the fanciest restaurant I had ever been to and he taught me how to dance up in the Guthrie Theater, from then on we were inseparable. Trying new things and going on adventures together is what we do best and we can't wait to share this next adventure with our family and friends!
