Since third grade Alexa and Lisa have been sidekicks, or the “sista” each other never had. From the worst to the best times they have been at each others side, and grown astronomically along the way. Best friends are the soul mates we choose!

Amanda

From running up and down the courts in middle school and high school sports .. to making fools of ourselves with old digital cameras, recipes and dance parties.. Amanda and Lisa have been through it all together! Boston to NJ and back has no bounds with this friendship - they will show up and show out at the drop of a hat. She took a train from Boston to stand in the rain and watch Lisa run a half marathon! All they need is a crisp cup of coffee and a fresh bagel from Hot Bagels Abroad.

Alyssa

Alyssa and Lisa’s paths crossed in the nursing world in 2016 when both of them were in the same orientation to begin working in the operating room. As fate would have it, her boyfriend at the time (now husband! hi joe), was Lisa’s neighbor in college. They quickly became close, and remain the best of friends today.

Natalia

Natalia and Lisa became the best of friends when they first sat next to each other the first day of English class freshman year of college. Since then, they experienced nursing school together from spending days in the library and coffee shops, to being partners in every clinical. They eventually went back to graduate school together and are now nurse practitioners. Natalia and Lisa share a love of wine and cheese, Peloton, their pups, sports outings, and lulu lemon.

Tatjana and Lisa met while both waitressing at Cloverleaf Tavern during college. They would bond over peanut butter pie, cutting brownies in the back and serving beers. Their summer shifts often consisted of spending tip money right after with coworkers. Their friendship blossomed into hot yoga dates, beach day trips and wine nights.

Kate and Lisa met while both started at the same time on a surgical/neuro stepdown unit as nurses. “There’s no friend like a nurse friend” rings true for these two. Through spending over twelve hours a day together at work, they bonded over Peloton.. coffee .. lovers of the beach .. and always being that friend to tell the other the harsh but needed advice! Both have moved on from this job and remain best friends and now neighbors by the beach!

When your boyfriends are best friends.. you tend to spend a lot of time together. Riana and Lisa instantly bonded over a love for a good steak and wine dinner and always being on the same page. From our yearly football stadium trips and traveling to Houston, Denver, and more to come, this is a friendship for life!

Anthony

Anthony and Lisa refer to themselves as each others “SOUL SIBLING”. From nursing school starting off in 2011 to now, they remain family. They are there for each other when the other needs it most, without even voicing it. Anthony surprised Lisa while she was working in NYC at the height of the pandemic - with a handmade poster that said “BEST NURSE IN NY.. LISA!” and Lisa surprised Anthony while she was in grad school at his COVID hospital in NJ by sneaking food and coffees up to their locked and lonely COVID unit. Nothing is off limits for the friendship of these two!
